Investor group pays $3.4B for Cleco
PINEVILLE (AP) — An investment group led by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets will buy the Louisiana power company Cleco for $3.4 billion.
A vehicle hit a utility pole around 5 p.m. today on Veterans Boulevard south of the railroad tracks in Patterson causing a power outage. As of about 7 p.m., 212 Cleco customers were without power in St. Mary Parish, according to Cleco's website. Cleco expected to have power restored by 8 p.m. today, according to company officials.
