Nicholls seeking Hall nominees

THIBODAUX — The Nicholls State University Department of Athletics is seeking nominations for the Hall of Distinction, an honor that recognizes individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to the Colonels athletics program.
Nominees need not have attended Nicholls but must have been visible supporters in enhancing the quality of life for Nicholls student-athletes. Their service may have been a particular accomplishment or a sustained and exemplary record of service and support.
Those wishing to nominate an individual or organization should write a letter of nomination to Chairman, Hall of Distinction Selection Committee, P.O. Box 2066, Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, LA 70310.
The committee will consider candidates who have promoted, enhanced or elevated the state of intercollegiate athletics at Nicholls.
Nominations can be submitted by members of the Colonel Athletic Association or any member of the Nicholls faculty and staff, including retirees, as well as alumni.
Letters of nomination must be received by Dec. 20.
Honorees will be inducted Feb. 1, 2014.
