Guillotte receives degree from Nicholls

EMILY GUILLOTTE, daughter of Dwayne and Tammy Guillotte and 2011 Hanson Memorial High School valedictorian, graduated from Nicholls State University on Sat., May 16 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. While at Nicholls, Emily was a member of the Nicholls Colonette Dance Team and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She put in her clinical hours at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center as well as Oschner Medical Center, Children’s Hospital and River Oaks, all in New Orleans. She precepted under a registered nurse in the emergency room at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. She will begin her nursing career as a registered nurse at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
