Aggravated incest suspect denied bail reduction

A 50-year-old Patterson man, charged Aug. 28 with aggravated incest after being accused of inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl, was denied bail reduction Oct. 30, according to St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court records.
William Louis Allen Jr., 50, of the 600 block of Red Cypress Road in Patterson, was denied bail reduction Oct. 30 in 16th Judicial District Court.
According to an affidavit, the mother of a 7-year-old girl came to the Patterson Police Department office July 10 saying her daughter had been molested by Allen, a relative of the girl.
The mother said her daughter told her that Allen had touched the girl in her private area and put his private area on hers, according to the affidavit.
In an interview with a counselor, the girl said Allen lay down on his bed in his bedroom and took off the girl’s clothes, the affidavit said. Allen then got on top of the girl, and the girl said that he did this more than once, the affidavit stated.
Allen’s trial date is set for Feb. 2.
