Arrest reports

Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrests:
—Nicholas D. Wiggins, 25, of Tupelo Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday for possession of Schedule IV controlled dangerous substance (clonazepam) and resisting an officer.
An officer patrolling observed a suspicious person in the area of Tupelo Street and attempted to detain the person for questioning. Upon seeing officers, Wiggins fled on foot. Officers eventually captured Wiggins, and he was jailed.
—Jamichael D. Bowie, 24, of Fourth Street in Berwick, was arrested at 10:53 a.m. Tuesday on a St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s warrant for four counts of failure to comply with drug court and failure to appear for criminal neglect. Bowie was jailed.
—Ashley S. Diggs, 24, of Village Lane in Amelia, was arrested at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday for speeding and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
An officer patrolling a school zone area on Roderick Street observed a vehicle speeding. The driver, Diggs, was jailed.
—Rusty P. Collins, 34, of Prairieville, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. Tuesday on a Terrebonne Parish warrant for failure to pay a fine for speeding.
An officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Federal Avenue and Brashear Avenue for a traffic violation. Collins was jailed.
—Phillip K. Lodrigue, 34, of Bayou Vista, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday for theft.
Lodrigue attempted to commit a theft from a local convenience store. Store employees told officers that Lodrigue concealed several food items valued at $11.24 and attempted to leave without paying for the items, Crouch said. Lodrigue was jailed.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 33 complaints in the parish and reported no arrests in east St. Mary Parish.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
