Arrest reports

Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrest:
—Jay P. Aucoin, 36, of Stephensville Road in Morgan City, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. today for reckless operation of a moving vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Victor II Boulevard and Marguerite Street in regards to a vehicle being followed by a person operating a second vehicle. Officers observed a vehicle which appeared to be chasing a second vehicle. The vehicle was being driven in a reckless manner and speeding more than 60 mph in a 25 mph zone, Crouch said.
As officers approached, a woman stopped her vehicle and flagged down police officers alleging that the driver of the second vehicle began chasing her vehicle after she honked the horn due to the driver pulling in front of her vehicle, Crouch said. She said the driver of the other vehicle made attempts to run her vehicle off the road, Crouch said. The driver of the second vehicle, who was identified as Aucoin, was jailed.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 38 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
—Tyler E. Brewer, 21, of the 500 block of Bertrand Drive in Lafayette, was arrested at 9:43 a.m. Thursday for disturbing the peace fighting.
—Nathan Corley, 34, of the 1400 block of La. 182 East in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:43 a.m. Thursday for disturbing the peace fighting, possession of Schedule II (Percocet), possession of Schedule III (Suboxone), and possession of a Legend Drug (Subutex) without a prescription.
Deputies responded to a report of a fight outside of a Louisa Street residence in the Patterson area. The deputies observed two males with bloody clothing, who were identified as Brewer and Corley. The deputies learned that Brewer and Corley were involved in a fight during which Corely sustained a wound to his face, Hebert stated. Both refused medical attention. Corley was found to be in possession of a Suboxone patch, Percocet pill, and Subutex pill, Hebert stated. Brewer was released on a summons to appear in court March 26. Corley was jailed with no bail set.
—Jesse Welch Jr., 36, of the 800 block of Martin Road in Defunier Springs, Fla., was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of unauthorized use of a movable. A deputy found Welch at a business on U.S. 90 in Bayou Vista and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Welch was jailed with bail set at $5,000.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported the following arrests:
—Dwight White, 40, of the 400 block of Como Street in Patterson, was arrested at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday for simple battery involving domestic violence. White was released on $7,500.
—Tyeshia Granger, 19, of the 1400 block of Ellzey Street in Morgan City; Gekeia Williams, 20, of the 700 block of Chetta Lane in Morgan City; Kelsey Francois, 18, of the 600 block of Grove Street in Morgan City; and Darmonique Francois, 19, of the 500 block of Orange Street in Morgan City were arrested at 2:34 a.m. today for disturbing the peace. All four were released on $324 fines.
—Tencia Williams, 18, of the 7100 block of Duke Street in Patterson; Tatiyana Gray, 17, of the 600 block of Leon Street in Morgan City; Passion Harris, 17, of the 600 block of Terrebonne Street in Morgan City; Raven Piggot, 19, of the 500 block of Carol Street in Morgan City; Jessica Granger, 18, of the 1400 block of Ellzey Street in Morgan City; Shaquina Harris, 19, of the 200 block of Arizona Street in Morgan City; Tekemia Thomas, 20, of the 700 block of Fourth Street in Morgan City; and Latifah Feris, 20, of the 1000 block of Third Street in Morgan City, were arrested at 2:34 a.m. today for disturbing the peace. All eight were jailed on $324 bail.
—A female juvenile, 16, was also arrested at 2:34 a.m. today for disturbing the peace.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
