Arrest reports

Three people were arrested at a Seyburn Street residence in Patterson after police discovered items used in a meth lab inside the residence, Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle said in a news release.
—Darren Ann Boggan, 36, of the 1700 block of Seyburn Street in Patterson, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription drug without a prescription, operation or manufacturing of a controlled dangerous substance – Schedule III, and on a St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.
—Brian Keith Hoob, 45, of the 1700 block of Seyburn Street in Patterson, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday for possession of drug paraphernalia second offense, operation or manufacturing of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia second offense, and a St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear for improper lane usage, failure to obey a traffic control signal, and suspended driver’s license.
—Blaine Matthew Case, 20, of the 100 block of Boulder Avenue in Lafayette, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating or manufacturing of a Schedule III controlled dangerous substance.
Officers received information that several people on Seyburn Street in Patterson were running a meth lab. Officers then went to the residence and made contact with Hoob, LaSalle said. Officers found that Boggan, and Case were also occupying the residence.
Officers went inside the residence and seized a prescription pills bottle with medication inside but the bottle of medicine was not prescribed to anyone, glass pipes commonly used for illegal substances, and a white powdery substance on a record album believed to be an illegal controlled dangerous substance. Officers also located a duffel bag inside the residence with items used to manufacture methamphetamine, LaSalle said. All three were jailed with no bail set at this time.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 41 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
A 26-year-old Verdunville man was charged with battery of a St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s deputy after the man struck the deputy on the hand and wrist at a Verdunville residence, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release.
—Joshua Navy, 26, of the 200 block of Verdun Lane in Verdunville, was arrested at 11:17 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family, a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family, two counts of resisting an officer, battery of a police officer, and simple criminal damage to property.
A deputy located Navy at his residence on the warrants. When the deputy advised Navy of the active warrants for his arrest, Navy fled into the residence. The deputy pursued Navy and apprehended him. Navy repeatedly pulled away from the deputy during the arrest. At one point Navy struck the deputy on the hand and wrist, Hebert said. Navy was jailed with bail set at $13,760.49.
—Brent M. Rock Jr., 23, of the 300 block of Chennault Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods and on two warrants for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Narcotics detectives located Rock at his residence on the warrant. Rock was jailed with no bail set.
—Justin P. Scarbrough, 22, of the 1200 block of Delmar Street in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace offensive language. While assisting detectives with an unrelated investigation, a deputy made contact with Scarbrough at his residence and learned of the warrant for his arrest. Scarbrough was jailed with no bail set.
—Dean Aucoin, 44, of the 300 block of Hunting Road in Ricohoc, was arrested at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for criminal damage to property. A deputy located Aucoin at his residence on the warrant. Aucoin was jailed and released on $500 bail.
—Clayton J. Matherne, 38, of the 100 block of Pluto Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant from Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office for three counts of issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Matherne at his residence on the warrant. Matherne was jailed with no bail set.
—Randy J. Bourgeois, 31, of the 100 block of Jana Beth Street in Houma, was arrested at 4:26 p.m. Wednesday for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from store personnel that Bourgeois was seen taking a new pair of shoes out of a shoe box and placing the shoes on his feet before leaving the store without paying for the goods, Hebert said. Bourgeois was released on a summons to appear in court April 28.
Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrests:
—Jacob M. Six, 21, of Arizona Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday for aggravated assault with a firearm and engaging in a fistic encounter.
—Anthony J. Harris, 18, of Amelia, was arrested at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday for engaging in a fistic encounter.
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance at an Arizona Street address. Officers arrived and during their investigation, learned that Harris and Six had been involved in a fist fight at the location. According to witnesses, Six secured a firearm and threatened Harris during the altercation, Crouch said.
Officers recovered the weapon involved. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
—Jamie L. Lantier, 17, of Levee Road in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday for possession of marijuana.
Officers were dispatched to a local supermarket in regard to a bag of suspected marijuana which was found inside the store. Officers arrived and were able to determine that the suspected marijuana belonged to Lantier, Crouch said. Lantier was jailed.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrests:
—Brady Hoop, 20, of Kohler Street in Kenton, Ohio, was arrested at 5:07 p.m. Wednesday for soliciting without a permit. Hoop was released on bail.
—Robert Minard, 22, of East Hudson Street in Mullin, Texas, and Christopher Porter, 17, of Monroe Street in Jefferson City, Mo., were arrested at 6:29 p.m. Wednesday for soliciting without a permit. Minard and Porter were released on bail.
—Adam Zuleger, 28, of Cardinal Lane in Valparaiso, Ind., and Nathaniel Moore, 25, of South Paxton Street in Sioux City, Iowa, were arrested at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday for soliciting without a permit. Zuleger and Moore were released on bail.
