Arrests reports

A 27-year-old Morgan City man is accused of kicking a window of a St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office vehicle after being arrested Thursday, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release.
—Joseph Percle, 27, of Solar Apartments in Morgan City, was arrested at 5:40 a.m. Thursday for disturbing the peace, simple criminal damage to property, a warrant for failure to appear and on a Morgan City warrant for simple battery involving domestic violence.
While investigating a separate complaint at Teche Regional Medical Center, a deputy made contact with a highly intoxicated person identified as Percle, Hebert said. The deputy learned that Percle held active warrants for his arrest. While escorting Percle from the facility, Percle began yelling and cursing, the sheriff said. While being transported to the parish jail, Percle kicked a window of the police unit causing damage to it, Hebert said. Percle was jailed with bail set at $2,692.
Hebert reported responding to 36 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
—Dylan Pittman, 23, of the 800 block of Belanger Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear. A deputy made contact with Pittman at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City. Pittman was jailed and released on $5,000 bail.
—Josiah J. Parker, 20, of the 400 block of Leo Street in Patterson, was arrested at 3:03 p.m. Thursday for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of probation. A deputy made contact with Parker at a medical facility in Morgan City. Parker was jailed and released on $10,000 bail.
—Yvonne Vilo, 56, of the 900 block of Washington Street in Patterson, was arrested at 2:16 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for possession of Schedule IV Soma. Narcotics detectives received information from probation and parole who were at the Berwick Police Department regarding a person being held who had an active warrant for arrest. Detectives transported Vilo from the Berwick Police Department to the parish jail on the warrant. Bail is set at $2,000.
—Damenn M. Engleton, 25, of the 3700 block of King Street in New Iberia, was arrested at 4:58 p.m. Thursday for possession of Schedule I drugs (synthetic cannabinoids), no driver’s license, and failure to signal. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division were patrolling the Morgan City area when they observed a vehicle fail to properly signal a turn.
Detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Engleton. Detectives received consent to search the vehicle and located synthetic cannabinoids. Detectives also discovered that Engleton had no valid driver’s license on file. Engleton was jailed with no bail set.
Morgan City Police Chief Michael Banks reported no arrests.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
