Henry Buggage

A woman said a man who gave her a ride home from a bar turned up half-naked in her living room, Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack said in a news release.
Henry Buggage, 58, of the 100 block of Grisaffe Lane, Belle Rose, was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Sunday for attempted rape/forcible and home invasion, Waguespack said.
On Sunday, Assumption Parish Dispatch received a 911 call about a home invasion and attempted rape, Waguespack said.
Buggage had given the victim a ride home from the Alexis Sports Bar, Waguespack said. Shortly after entering her home and locking the door behind her, she later found him standing in her living room half naked, he said. Her 16-year-old son intervened during the attempted rape and Buggage ran out the door, he said.
Buggage was taken into custody.
Bail had not been set as of Monday.
