One of Patterson police’s Most Wanted was misidentified in September’s Daily Review Most Wanted edition after police sent the mug shot and information for another man with the same name, according to Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle.
Roy La. Clements Sr., 53, who police do not have a last known address for, is on Patterson’s most wanted list for second degree battery.
On Aug. 8, Patterson police were sent to Patterson State Bank for a complaint of a female who had been beaten up and was in the area of the bank.
Officers noticed a female who stated that Clements had beaten her, LaSalle said. The female had signs of having been beaten on her face, and her teeth had been broken during the altercation, according to LaSalle. Charges were filed; a warrant was issued; and an affidavit was signed for Clements.
Anyone with information on Clements should contact Detective Larry Jones at the Patterson Police Department at 985-395-6161.
