Pierre Part man indicted for improper touching of juveniles

A 46-year-old Pierre Part man was indicted on two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile by a 23rd Judicial District grand jury.
Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack said Kevin Landry, 46, of the 100 block of Mam and Pap Drive, was indicted for incidents of improper touching of two juveniles, ages 4 and 13, which occurred on several occasions.
Deputies say the youths told sheriff’s investigators that Landry allegedly accosted them on several occasions between 2000 and 2007.
The case was presented by 23rd Judicial District Attorney Ricky Babin’s office, he said in a news release.
Landry was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Tuesday and has posted a $20,000 bail, Waguespack said.
