Police 1-22-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:
Charlie Carson, 75, of Thibodaux, was arrested Wednesday at 5:29 a.m. on a warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Johnny A. Francois, 35, of 431 Garber St., Morgan City, Wednesday at 6:53 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Amoxil, possession of Lortab, transactions involving drug proceeds and violation of a drug free zone. No bond was set.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Nathaniel Menard, 21, of Charenton, Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. on charges of no insurance and no driver’s license on person. He was released on a summons.
