Police asking assistance in Glencoe shooting

St. Mary Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a gunman who left one man injured in a Glencoe shooting Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release that officers responded to the 3:12 p.m. shooting in the 4400 block of La. 83 in Glencoe after receiving a 911 call.
Deputies located a male victim injured by an apparent gunshot to the shoulder. Acadian Ambulance transported the victim to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette for treatment, the release states.
Detectives obtained surveillance video from the area and are seeking information on the whereabouts of a vehicle that was seen in the vicinity at the time of the incident.
