Police: Man caught touching himself outside home
A 37-year-old Morgan City man was booked on the charge of indecent behavior with juveniles after he was caught inappropriately touching himself outside of a Birch Street home in front of several children, Morgan City Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
—Darnell Johnson, 37, of Birch Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday on the charge of indecent behavior with juveniles.
Officers responded to a home on Birch Street in regard to an individual masturbating in front of the home. Police arrived and located an individual fitting the description given with a T-shirt covering his genital area, Blair said.
The individual was identified as Johnson and was detained by officers. Witnesses stated that Johnson was standing in front of the location and appeared to be masturbating while several children were outside of the home. Johnson was jailed.
Blair reported the following arrest:
—Eric Lelleaux, 50, of Fourth Street in Berwick, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday on the charge of possession of marijuana third offense.
A patrol officer located Lelleaux in the area of Sixth Street and Brashear Avenue. While talking to the officer, Lelleaux appeared nervous.
Lelleaux gave the officer consent to pat him down and found marijuana on Lelleaux, Blair said. Lelleaux was jailed.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 34 complaints in the parish and reported no arrests in east St. Mary Parish.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrests:
—Kalyn Gros, 27, of Pecan Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:53 a.m. Tuesday on the charge of disturbing the peace. She posted $175 bail.
—Colby Gros, 28, of Pecan Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:53 a.m. Tuesday on the charge of disturbing the peace. He posted $175 bail.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported the following arrest:
—Darlene Trimm, 46, of K Street in Patterson, was arrested at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday on the charge of theft by shoplifting. Trimm was jailed on $1,000 bail.
