Police Reports 1-25-17

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Dontrell Phillips, 30, of 203 Utopia St., Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 1:59 p.m. and charged with failure to signal 100 feet prior to an intersection, two counts resisting an officer, possession of marijuana, expired driver’s license and failure to appear on the charge of possession of Schedule I drugs. No bail was set.
John Buck Jr., 30, of Ricohoc, was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center Tuesday at 11:16 a.m. and charged with second degree battery, home invasion, simple battery and disturbing the peace. No bail was set.
Anthony Ruffin, 43, of Marrero, was arrested Tuesday at 5:43 p.m. and charged with suspended driver’s license and driving on divide highways. Ruffin was released on a summons to appear in court.
James Skinner, 63, of Siracusa, was arrested Wednesday at 1:39 a.m. and charged with switched license plate, no driver’s license, stop sign violation and no motor vehicle insurance. Skinner was released on a summons to appear in court.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Mitchell Guilbeau, 22, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:14 a.m. and charged with simple battery. Guilbeau was booked, processed and held on a $2,500 bond.
Vernija Loston, 18, of Talbot Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 1:06 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Loston was booked, processed and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Ivory Williams Jr., 45, of Friendship Lane, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 2:33 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule II narcotics with intent to distribute. Williams was booked, processed and held on a $6,000 bond.
