Police Reports 10-9-14

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Joey Viltz, 49, of 2461 La. 318, Sorrel, was arrested Wednesday at 1:10 p.m. on a charge of resisting an officer and a warrant charging him with four counts of misuse of the 911 system. No bond was set.
Nelson Gonzales, 40, of 106 Bergeron Lane, Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 1:20 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was released on $5,000 bond.
Benjamin Wood, 28, of 109 Beau Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 5:22 p.m. on charges of hit and run, careless operation, no driver’s license and a failure to appear warrant on a charge of hit and run. He was held on $6,750 bond.
Gordon Jones, 22, of Napoleonville, and Brandon Williams, 30, of 716 Duval St., Amelia, were arrested today at approximately 3:15 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and were released on summons.
Mark Goulas, 36, of Thibodaux, was arrested today at 4:05 a.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a Thibodaux failure to appear warrant on charges of speeding, expired driver’s license and no insurance. He was held on $1,500 bond.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Sterling Scully, 51, of 3498 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, Tuesday at 8:44 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and methamphetamine both with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and transactions involving drug proceeds. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Mark Peterson Jr., 54, of Bud Street, Franklin, today at 1:12 a.m. on charges of public intoxication and criminal mischief. No bond was set.
Shaquille Conner, 23, no address given, was arrested Tuesday at 1:49 p.m. on a sheriff’s warrant charging him with illegal possession of stolen things. No bond was set.
Earl Perro, 33, of Cleveland Street, Patterson, was arrested today at 12:10 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery and released on $500 bond.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Russel Mandugourg, 49, of Franklin, Monday at 11:50 a.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing. He was released on a summons.
Gerard J. Ledet, 60, of Houma, was arrested Tuesday at 3 p.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and an issuing worthless checks warrant. No bond was set.
