Police Reports 11-2-15
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Alfred A. Gagnon, 58, of Delcambre, was on arrested on Saturday and charged with theft and released on a summons.
Joseph D. McDaniel, 34, of Gum Street, Franklin, was arrested on Sunday and charged with remaining where forbidden and released on a summons.
Kristy M. Fontenot, 19, of Opelousas, and Tracy H. Nguyen, 19, also of Opelousas, were arrested on Sunday and charged with criminal trespassing and possession of alcohol by subject under 21. Both were released on summons.
Dwayne A. Davis, 33, of New Iberia, was arrested on Sunday and charged with Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office warrants for aggravated assault and simple criminal damage to property under $500. No bond set.
Chad C. Lopez, 39, of New Iberia, was arrested on Sunday and charged with second degree battery. No bond set.
Reginald P. Ward, 35, of Bayonne Street, Jeanerette, was arrested on Sunday and charged with remaining where forbidden, resisting an officer with force, and Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office warrants charging him with failure to appear for sentencing on charges of speeding, invalid driver’s license and expired motor vehicle inspection sticker. No bond set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Michael Morris Jr., 17, of Talbot Street, Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 3:03 p.m. on warrants charging him with battery on a school teacher, prohibition of interference with the educational process, disturbing the peace, and simple assault. Upon arrest, Morris was additionally charged with possession of tobacco products by persons under the age of 18. Morris was processed and released on a $4,000 bond.
Morris Thibeaux, 59, of Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 4:57 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by public intoxication and open alcoholic container. Thibeaux was processed and held with no bond set.
Ali Saeed, 27, of Franklin, was arrested on Sunday at 8:35 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace. Saeed was processed and held on a $500 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Brian Guidry, 51, of 102 Calhoun St., Amelia, was arrested on Friday at 7:11 a.m. and charged with hit and run driving. Guidry was released on a summons to appear in court.
Charles Clark, 57, no address given, was arrested on Friday at 8:05 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass and resisting an officer. Clark was released on a summons.
Carl Joseph, 56, of 183 Roy’s Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 11:48 a.m. and charged with failure to properly signal a turn and driving under suspension. The deputy released Joseph on a summons.
Curtis L. Buford, 46, of 479 Prairie Road North, Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 12:40 p.m. and charged with diobedience to police officers, criminal trespass and resisting an officer. He was later released on a summons .
Larry C. Rebardi, 57, of 408 Darlene St., Patterson, was arrested on Friday at 2:23 p.m. on a warrant charging him with illegal use of a weapon. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
Anthony Wilson Sr., 55, of 629 Second St., Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 2:58 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $9,501.
William Frederick, 43, of 327 David Road, Bayou Vista, was additionally charged on a second warrant for forcible rape on Friday at 3:03 p.m. Frederick was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on related charges. No bail is set.
Donnie Brown, 58, of 3206 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, was arrested on Friday at 3:59 p.m. on two warrants charging him with failure to appear on the charges of issuing worthless checks. Brown was released on a $10,000 recognizance bond.
Benjamin McDaniel Jr., 58, 461 Gum Point Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 8:54 p.m. and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license on person, proper tail lamps required. No bail was set.
Gerald Mitchell, 58, of 201 Mitchell St., Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 8:54 p.m. on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of cocaine, warrant from the Department of Public Safety and Corrections Division of Probation and Parole charging him with probation violation. No bail was set.
Jorge Cordova, 32, of 738 Duval St., Amelia, was arrested on Saturday at 1:39 a.m. and charged with failure to yield to emergency vehicles and possession of open alcoholic containers in motor vehicles. No bond was set.
Eddy Pardo Cervantes, 36, of 617 Sebby’s Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested on Sunday at 2:43 p.m. on a warrant on charges of failure to appear on the charges of disobeying a traffic light, operating a vehicle with an expired license plate and failure to honor written promise to appear. He was later released on a summons.
Ty M. Hammonds, 35, of 709 St. Michael St., Patterson, was arrested on Sunday at 6:08 p.m. on charges of hit and run driving and reckless operation of a vehicle (with a crash). Hammonds was released on a summons.
Joseph Eusey Sr., 37, of 915 Gum St., Franklin, was arrested on Sunday at 9:40 p.m. on two warrants charging him with failure to comply with the terms and conditions of probation and on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. No bail was set.
