Police Reports 11-5-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Kesler Sauzo Benegas, 23, of 501 Louisa St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 7:20 a.m. on charges of hit and run driving and no driver’s license. She was released on a summons.
Jose Ventura, 31, of Jeanerette, was charged Wednesday with bringing contraband into a jail and held with no bond set.
Jessica L. Ross Pearce, 26, of 1655 Filmore St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 6:19 p.m. on three warrants charging her with failure to appear for a drug court status conference and held on $300,000 bond.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Brandon hill, 33, of 117 Jupiter St., Bayou Vista, and Trey Simoneaux, 32, of 111 Hendricks St., Patterson, Wednesday at 8:18 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana. They were released on summons.
Brian Derouen, 27, of 128 Polaris St., Bayou Vista, was arrested today at 12:36 a.m. on charges of driving left of center, flight from an officer, possession of meth with intent to distribute, obstruction of justice, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, resisting an officer, no seat belt and possession of marijuana.
Theresa Trahan, 28, of Houma, was arrested today at 12:36 a.m. on charges of obstruction of justice, no seat belt, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in the controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were held with no bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Ernest Harrison, 65, of Robertson Street, Franklin, was arrested on Wednesday at 7:07 a.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of a roadway. Harrison was processed and released on a $4,000 bond.
Michael Bourgeois III, 17, of Deforest Brown Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Wednesday at 9:25 a.m. and charged with hit and run. Bourgeois was processed and released on a $1,000 bond.
Jackson Bernard, 28, of Robertson Street, Franklin, was arrested on Wednesday at 5:48 p.m. on a warrant dated October 9, 2015, on the charge of Simple battery. Bernard was processed and released on a $500 bond.
Lavonte Jones, 21, of East Street, Franklin, was arrested on Wednesday at 6:18 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana and codeine and no license plate light. Jones was processed and held on a $1,010 bond.
Girard Navy Jr., 23, of Ninth Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on Wednesday at 10:37 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by loud and obscene language. Navy was processed and held on a $500 bond.
