Police Reports 2-5-16

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Jacob Picard, 26, of Choctaw Street, Charenton, was arrested Thursday and charged with a felony warrant for violating the conditions of his parole. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Tyjuandre Harris, 19, of Frederick Lane, Baldwin, was arrested Thursday at 6:53 p.m. and charged with illegal carrying of weapons. Harris was held on a $1,000 bond.
Mercede Short, 19, of Borne Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 8:24 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Short was released on a $500 bond.
Noemie Derouen, 28, of A Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 8:24 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Derouen was released on $500 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Jeremiah J. Cortez, 38, of Thibodaux, was arrested Thursday at 2:51 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of justice. No bail was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Alicia Sylvester, 27, of Napoleonville, was arrested Thursday at 12:33 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace (fighting). She was released on a $1,000 bond.
Michael W. Martin Jr., 32, of 3510 Second St., Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 2:36 p.m. and charged on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Martin was released on a summons.
Destry Weber, 50, of 108 Jordan Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 12:25 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery, second offense. No bail was set.
