Police Reports 3-17-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Ricky J. Dotson Jr., 37, of 113 Cayce St., Franklin, was arrested Monday at 1:35 p.m. on a charge of open alcohol container. He was released on a summons.
Christine A. Hughes, 31, of 264 Vivian St., Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 3:26 p.m. on four failure to appear warrants on charges of failure to comply with drug court. Bond was set at $400,000.
Julie A. Gautreaux, 26, of Dulac, was arrested Monday at 4:31 p.m. on a warrant charging her with theft of goods and was released on $1,000 bond.
Kenneth Wiggins Jr., 43, of 410 Henry St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 10:43 p.m. on a charge of simple battery.
Also arrested in the same incident was Nicholas Thomas, 22, of Leesville, on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm.
A deputy responded to a report of a subject with a gun at Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista. Upon questioning the subjects involved in the incident and viewing video surveillance, the deputy determined that Wiggins struck a male victim in the face while inside the store. Shortly after the battery occurred, Thomas is seen running into the store with a gun in his hand pointed at Wiggins. Wiggins was released on a $500 bond. No bail is set for Thomas.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Dwan Borel, 48, of B Street, Franklin, Monday at 8:20 a.m. on three counts of forgery of a certificate of insurance. Borel was held on $2,500 bond.
Brian Green, 32, of Maple Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 4:26 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple assault. He was released on $250 bond.
Daylen Green, 17, or Robinson Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 11:24 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana and released on $2,000 bond.
LaShall Carson, 19, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 11:26 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana and released on $2,000 bond.
