St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
David P. Loston, 52, of 137 La. 668, Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 10:45 p.m. on charges of DWI, open alcohol container, no driver’s license and driving left of center. No bond was set.
Kimberly Colletti, 30, of Kiln, La., was arrested Friday at 1:16 a.m. on charges of DWI, possession of Schedule I and II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on $8,750 bond.
Tajh Ghilbeau, no age given, of 237 Easy St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:45 p.m. on a charge of remaining where forbidden and released on a summons.
Tradasha Brooks, 19, of Siracusa, and Arielle Hunt, 20, of 156 Yellow Bayou Road, Centerville, were arrested Saturday at 10:46 a.m. on warrants charging each with simple battery. They were released on $750 bonds.
Michael Nelson, 52, of Gibson, was arrested Saturday at 12:50 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of disturbing the peace and remaining where forbidden. Bond was set at $1,000.
Cassie Hotard, 45, of 3288 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, was arrested Monday at 12:43 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks and was released on a summons.
Tyler M. Kapp, 23, of 504 Crenshaw St., Berwick, was arrested Monday at 1:42 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft. No bond was set.
Tashekia Celestine, 35, of 1115 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 3 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks and released on a summons.
Kyle Roy, 21, of Broussard, was arrested Monday at 2:04 p.m. on a state police warrant charging him with interfering with an investigation. Bond was set at $100,000.
Juan DeDios, 48, of New Iberia, was arrested Monday at 11:04 p.m. on charges of DWI, no driver’s license and open alcohol container. No bond was set.
Cassandra L. Collins, 38, of 1312 Martin Luther King Road, Charenton, was arrested Monday at 5:23 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft of goods and a warrant charging her with intentional littering. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Barry Druilhet Jr., 41, of 505 Railroad St., Baldwin, Friday at 3:06 p.m. on charges of transactions involving drug proceeds, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, in the presence a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia possession of Lortab with intent to distribute, Prevacid, Macrobid, Flagyl, Ultraset and Bactrim BS without a prescription, possession of Fentanyl Patches, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Bond was set at $336,500.
Bronte Druilhet, 24, of 243 Easy St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:06 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile. No bond was set.
Annika Dupass, 29, of 505 Railroad St., Baldwin, was arrested Friday at 3:06 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile, failure to appear warrants on charges of direct contempt, no driver’s license and simple criminal damage to property. No bond was set.
Glen Johnson, no age given, of 124 Cypress St., Baldwin, was arrested Friday at 3:06 p.m. on a warrant charging him with child support violation in Indiana. No bond was set.
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division simultaneously executed search warrants at two locations in the Baldwin area, 505 Railroad Avenue and 213 Orphan Home Road. The warrants were the result of an extensive investigation in which detectives reportedly discovered that Barry Druilhet Jr. was selling large amounts of cocaine out of his residence on Railroad Avenue while using the Orphan Home location as a stash house. While conducting the search at the Railroad Avenue address, detectives reportedly located a large amount of cash, crack cocaine, a handgun, a pistol grip shotgun, Fentanyl patches, a bag of Lortab pills, an assortment of Legend Drugs (Prevacid, Batrim, Ultraset, Flagyl and Macrobid pills), marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia including a marijuana grinder, scale, razor blade, and small plastic bags. Brontre was also reportedly found to be in possession of marijuana. The search on Orphan Home Road reportedly yielded cocaine, crack cocaine, drug packaging material and several items used in the manufacturing of crack cocaine. Detectives learned that Druilhet has several prior felony convictions and that Johnson was wanted on a warrant.
Kevin Landry, 32, no address given, was arrested Sunday at 11:05 p.m. on a warrant charging him with operation of a clandestine laboratory and attempted unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, and a 32nd Judicial District Court warrant charging him with two counts of theft. No bond was set.
Melissa Tanner, 45, no address given, was arrested Sunday at 11:05 p.m. on a warrant charging her with operation of a clandestine laboratory, simple burglary and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. No bond was set.
A deputy was dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked beneath the La. 317 at the Intracoastal Bridge. The deputy arrived and reportedly observed a vehicle fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed. A short time later, the deputy located the vehicle on a nearby levee. While checking the car for occupants the deputy reportedly observed an active methamphetamine lab on the passenger seat along with other items used in the manufacturing of meth. The vehicle was unoccupied. The deputy remained at that location in order to secure the active lab.
Narcotics detectives were called to the scene and located items in the car reportedly identifying the occupants as Landry and Tanner. Crime and death scene cleaners, Xtreme Cleaners, were contacted to remove the lab. While processing evidence at the scene, detectives reportedly spotted two sets of footprints leading to a bayou. As the search for the vehicle’s occupants continued, detectives learned that the two subjects had allegedly entered onto a business property and had also attempted to enter a camp. At approximately 8 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a tug boat captain who advised that two subjects had allegedly been pulled from the Intracoastal Waterway. The captain brought the two subjects to the Calumet boat landing where they were taken into custody by narcotics detectives.
Acting Chitimacha Police Chief Ellen Hebert reported the arrest of Cassandra B. Collins, 38, of Charenton, Monday on a warrant charging her with simple assault. She was released on a summons.
Drizzt Morales, 18, of Jeanerette, was arrested Monday on a warrant on a charge of illegal possession of stolen things. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Minas Sinitiere, 56, of James Street, Franklin, Monday at 10:34 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery on a juvenile. He was released on $500 bond.
Mengistu Guilliam, 37, of New Iberia, was arrested Monday at 8:04 p.m. on charges of resisting an officer and giving a false name. Guilliam was held on $1,000 bond.
Abe Williams, 31, of New Iberia, was arrested Monday at 8:04 p.m. on a charge of second offense possession of drug paraphernalia; a district court failure to appear warrant on a charge of unlawful use of a state idea; and a 15th Judicial District Court failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft. No bond was set.
