Police Reports 4-18-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Rachel King, 32, of 522 Fifth St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 7:25 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of alprazolam, disturbing the peace by appearing in an intoxicated condition, resisting an officer and remaining where forbidden. No bail was set.
Anthony Beard, 39, of 1502 Cross Road, #2, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 5:05 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace and simple assault. Bail was set at $1,000.
Lance J. Talbot Jr., 22, of 227 Mechanic St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 8:10 a.m. and charged with violation of the maximum speed limit law and reckless operation of a vehicle. Talbot was released on a summons to appear in court.
Reginald T. Martin Sr., 40, of 149 Pickett Ln., Charenton was arrested Thursday at 8:54 a.m. and charged on a warrant for the charges of criminal trespassing, attempted simple burglary and theft. No bail was set.
Sidney L. Acosta, 20, of St. Bernard, was arrested Tuesday at 1:22 p.m. and charged on a warrant for three counts simple burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. No bail was set.
Jeffery Marks Jr., 23, of 2011 Frisco St., Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 1:27 p.m. and charged on a warrant for domestic abuse battery and simple assault. No bail was set.
David Burrell Jr., 32, of 118 Township Road, Lafayette, was arrested Thursday at 1:43 p.m. and charged on a warrant for conspiracy to distribute Schedule I drugs. Bail was set at $75,000.
Christopher Pollard, 31, of 104 Jordin Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 2:25 p.m. and charged with theft, a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple burglary, a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family and a warrant for probation violation. No bail was set.
Nicole Swackhamer, 30, of 205 Jones St., Apt. #9, Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 2:25 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile. No bail was set.
Emilio Chavez Garcia, 38, of 3112 Lake Palourde Road, Apt. 4, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 3:52 a.m. and charged with domestic abuse battery, criminal damage to property, resisting an officer and possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. No bail was set.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrest:
Trevor Payne, 25, of Broussard, arrested Sunday and charged with disturbing the peace by public intoxication and released on a summons.
