Police Reports 6-28-16
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Patricia Jones, 57, of B Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:42 p.m. and charged on a warrant on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Jones was booked, processed and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Terrance Huckaby, 21, of Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 4:36 a.m. for the charges of criminal trespassing. Huckaby was booked, processed and held on a $500 bond.
Walter Howard, 29, of Williams Street, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 7:52 p.m. and charged on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Howard was booked, processed, and released to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Quincy Matthews, 27, of Gum Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 8:50 p.m. and charged on warrants on the charges of possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana)-first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia-firstst offense, uniformed controlled dangerous substance law violation in a drug free zone and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of persons under the age of 17. Matthews was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Freddy Borne, 37, of Tupelo Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:32 p.m. for the charge of sexual battery. Borne was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department on unrelated warrants and was transported to the Franklin Police Department where he was booked, processed and held with no bond set.
Morris Thibeaux, 60, of Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:39 p.m. for the charges of remaining where forbidden and open alcohol container. Thibeaux was booked, processed, and held on a $750 bond.
Wibray Dauntain, 22, of Ferrette Street, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 8:14 p.m. and charged on warrants for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for the charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, disturbing the peace by fighting, assault and simple battery. Dauntain was also arrested on warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of simple battery, theft under $500 and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Dauntain was also arrested on the charge of possession of a legend drug without a prescription (flexeril). Dauntain was booked, processed, and held with no bond set.
Equanna Gable, 25, of Easy Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 9:30 p.m. and charged on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Gable was booked, processed and held on a $813 cash bond.
Valencia Mitchell, 51, of Madison Street, Franklin, turned herself in at the Franklin Police Department Monday at 10:40 a.m. on a warrant on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Mitchell was booked, processed and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Wibray Dauntain, 22, of Ferette Street, Morgan City, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was also charged Monday at 11:39 a.m. with warrants for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of impeding the flow of traffic and principal to theft by shoplifting. Dauntain was booked, processed and held with no bond set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division:
Jarrid Westley, 27, of 427 Big Four Corners Rd., Four Corners, was arrested Monday at 3:45 p.m. and charged with three counts of resisting an officer and on a Department of Public Safety and Corrections warrant for parole violation. No bail was set.
Joseph Lumpkin, 53, of 121 Martin Luther King St., Baldwin, was arrested Monday at 9:24 p.m. and charged with pedestrians soliciting rides or business, resisting a police officer with force or violence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
