Police Reports 6-29-15

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Vaughn Stewart, 50, of Augustine Maze Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:55 p.m. on charges of speeding, driving under suspension and resisting arrest by giving false information. He was also charged with a district court failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family. Bond was set at $17,538.
Diane Darby, 36, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 12:57 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by public intoxication and was held on $500 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrest of Deavnta Burden, 22, of 111 BDC Lane, Verdunville, Friday at 12:29 p.m. on a warrant charging her with simple robbery and simple battery and failure to appear on a charge of simple battery. No bond was set.
Travis Richardson, 26, of 514 St. Mary St., Patterson, was arrested Friday at 6:11 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of direct contempt, failure to use seatbelt and failure to honor a written promise to appear. No bond was set.
Dylan M. Guillot, no age give, of New Iberia, was arrested Friday at 7:16 p.m. on charges of aggravated flight from an officer, driving under suspension, modification of exhaust, no mirrors, no inspection sticker, no proof of motorcycle endorsement and switched license plate.
Sheriff’s dispatch received a complaint of two motorcycles traveling at a high rate of speed on U.S. 90 eastbound in the Franklin area. A deputy responded and located two subjects matching the complainant’s description on U.S 90. at La. 317 in the Centerville area. The deputy initiated a traffic stop. Both motorcycle drivers saw the deputy but reportedly failed to pull over and accelerated. Patterson Police observed one of the motorcycle drivers travel onto AM Gray Lane in Bayou Vista. In an attempt to evade police, the driver crashed the vehicle, laying the motorcycle down. The driver then reportedly attempted to flee on foot. Patterson Police officers apprehended the driver who was identified as Guillot. He was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released after posting a $4,750 bond.
The deputy who initiated the traffic stop continued to follow the second motorcycle driver. The deputy received information from by-standers in the area that the subject fled down Southeast Boulevard. The deputy located the motorcycle, a black Suzuki, behind a business on Belleview Street. The driver of the vehicle, a white male, reportedly fled from the area. The driver was wearing a sleeveless camouflage shirt and dark colored shorts. He was wearing a black helmet and operating a black Suzuki GSX-R1000. The vehicle had no rear brake discs.

Trevor Guillotte, 27, of 633 Moresi Road, Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 7 p.m. on charges of driving under suspension and careless operation with an accident. He was released on a summons.
Tony Teague, 46, of 150 Mercury Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 2:25 a.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace intoxicated. No bond was set.
Travis P. Romero, 43, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Sunday at 2:30 a.m. on charges of reckless operation, flight from an officer and a warrant charging him with violation of protective orders. He was released on $5,000 bond.
Rachelle D. Madison, 45, of 311 Easy St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 1:33 p.m. on a leash law violation and released on a summons.
Brandon Privat, 19, of Lafayette, was arrested Sunday at 6:50 p.m. on a charge of hit and run and released on a summons.
A juvenile male, 16, of Four Corners, was arrested Sunday at 10:32 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and resisting with force or violence. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Darla J. Andras, 52, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Sunday at 9:53 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft and was released on $10,000 bond.
Steven Morris, 28, and Ashley Bertrand, 27, both of 113 Vista Village Lane, Bayou Vista, were arrested today at 4:37 a.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery. No bonds were set.
