Police Reports 6-30-16

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrest of Derrick G. Lovely, 39, of 107 Bud St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 4:06 p.m. and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule IV (Xanax), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane use, no driver’s license and condition of windshield. Lovely was released after posting a $5,500 bond.
Thomas R. Cook, 32, of 1915 River Road, Lot 20 Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 2:52 p.m. and charged on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and false representation of a controlled dangerous substance. No bail was set.
Jonathan L. Diggs, 25, of 163 Roy’s Lane, Centerville, was arrested Wednesday at 4:56 p.m. and charged with improper lane usage and possession of marijuana. Diggs was released on a summons to appear in court.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division:
Brandon L. Guidry, 31, of 142 Natalie Lane, Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 10:56 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. He was later released on a $1,500 personal surety bond.
Kylee Wilson, 19, of 201 La. 182, Morgan City was arrested Wednesday at 4:31 p.m. and charged with restricted license and no insurance. Wilson was released on a summons to appear in court.
Everich Defils Jr., 23, of 221 Easy St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 6:08 p.m. and charged on a Third Ward City Court warrant for failure to appear on the charge off road vehicle on roadway. Defils was released after paying the Franklin Court fine for the offense.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Rekena Gardiner, 42, of Lake Charles, was arrested Wednesday at 8:16 p.m. for the charge of theft of goods. Gardiner was processed and held with no bond set.
