Police Reports 6-5-15

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Warren Hines Jr., 42, of Fournier Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:53 a.m. on a bench warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family. He was held on $3,694 bond.
Kevin James, 29, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:54 a.m. on charges of no driver’s license, registration, insurance and inspection sticker. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Sarah Webb, 29, of Robertson Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 1:36 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks and was released on a summons.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrest of Quinn Lewis, 28, of 1414 Cypremort Road, Four Corners, Thursday at 8:25 a.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery-child endangerment, and warrants on charges of flight from an officer, criminal trespassing, off road vehicle on roadway and simple battery. No bond was st.
Lachanda Casteal, of 1302 Iberia St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 9:13 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of speeding and driving under suspension. She was released on $500 bond.
David Brown, 43, of 103 Todd Lane, Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 1:13 p.m. on a Thibodaux failure to appear warrant on charges of turn signal violation, driving under suspension and two counts of direct contempt. He was turned over to Thibodaux authorities.
Cheryl Ladnier, 56, of 254 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, was arrested Thursday at 2:07 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of direct contempt, speeding and failure to honor written promise to appear. She was released on $325 bond.
A deputy responded to a complaint of several subjects jumping from Zenor Bridge into Bayou Teche in the Patterson area Thursday. As the deputy approached the bridge, she reportedly saw a group of six subjects in swim suits and observed one of the subjects jump off the structure. All subjects, including a 16-year-old male juvenile, were detained. Five of the subjects were arrested and charged with violating a parish ordinance prohibiting swimming from parish bridges and allowing a minor to swim from a parish bridge. The juvenile was released. Those charged at about 3 p.m. were:

Ryan Boudreaux, 19, 212 D Southeast Blvd., Bayou Vista
Amber Swanson, 17, 630 Teche Road, Bayou Vista
Ethan Mensman, 17, 154 Riverview Drive, Patterson
Jared Lacompte, 17, of Mississippi
All were released on summonses.
Troy P. Carnley, no age given, of 516 Henry St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 9:08 a.m. on a charge of hit and run and released on a summons.
Charles Preece, 26, of 1927 River Road, Berwick, was arrested today at 1:02 a.m. on charges of second offense possession of marijuana and no insurance. No bond was set.
Chace Ribardi, 23, of 3190 First St., Berwick, was arrested today at 1:02 a.m. on a charge of second offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.
