Police Reports 6-7-16

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division:
A juvenile male, 16, of Franklin, was arrested Monday at 8:45 a.m. and charged for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Michael Pormier, 17, of 608 St. John St., Franklin, was arrested Monday at 1:32 p.m. and charged for principal to simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Pormier was booked into the parish jail and later released on a $5,000 personal surety bond.
Lorenzo Welch, 23, of 701 Ash St., Franklin, was arrested Monday at 11:11 a.m. and charged on a warrant for probation violation and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and failure to honor written promise to appear. Welch was released on a $1,330 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Dimply Darby, 27, of Iberia St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 8:44 p.m. for the charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and no driver’s license. Darby was processed and released on a $3,600 bond.
Randolph Joseph, 24, of Robert St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 9:51 p.m. for the charges of battery on a police officer, simple battery on a juvenile, simple escape, resisting an officer, possession of Schedule I narcotics (Ecstasy), simple criminal damage to property, criminal mischief and disturbing the peace. Joseph was processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Joseph Gunner, 52, of Iberia Street, Franklin, turned himself in Friday and was charged for warrants on the charges of simple battery with medical attention. Gunner was processed and held on a $500 bond.
Keithlin Antoine, 21, of Anderson Street, Franklin, while incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, was arrested Saturday at 9:47 a.m. and charged on a warrant for registration of sex offenders. Antoine was processed and remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Tommy Carson Sr., 45, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, while incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law enforcement Center, was arrested on a warrant for the charge of armed robbery. Carson was processed and remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Angel Laine, 43, Frontage Road, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 11:06 a.m. and charged on a warrant for the charge of theft. Laine was processed and held on a $1,000 bond.
Tyrone Alexander Sr., 46, of Baker Road, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:15 p.m. for the charge of aggravated assault. Alexander was processed and released on a $1,000 bond.
Kamal Lakhani, 48, of Third Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 7:29 a.m. for the charge of domestic abuse battery-first offense. Lakhani was processed and held with no bond set.
Ronald Jones Jr., 36, of Yellow Bayou Road, Centerville, was arrested Sunday at 3:43 a.m. for the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana)-second offense, criminal trespassing and no driver’s license. Jones was arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of marijuana. Jones was also arrested on a warrant for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charges of speeding. Jones was processed and held with no bond set.
Alex Edwards, 23, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 3:43 a.m. for the charges of possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana)-second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia-second offense and criminal trespassing. Edwards was also arrested on a warrant for violation of a restraining order. Edwards was processed and held with no bond set.
Ennis Abraham, 19, of Happy Acres, Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 6:31 a.m. on charges of no tail lamps, expired motor vehicle inspection, no valid driver’s license, possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a firearm with obliterated serial number. Abraham was processed and held on a $20,000 bond.
Terrance Key Jr., 21, of Carl C. Foulcard Drive, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:31 a.m. for the charges of possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm by persons convicted of certain felonies and possession of a firearm with obliterated serial number. Abraham was processed and held on a $20,000 bond.
Morris Thibeaux, 60, of Franklin, was arrested Monday at 11:03 p.m. for the charge of disturbing the peace by public intoxication. Thibeaux was processed and held on a $500 bond.
Charles Beverly Sr., 63, of Iberia St., Franklin, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department was arrested Monday at 4:12 p.m. and charged on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of no driver’s license. Beverly was processed and held on a $199 cash bond.
