Police Reports 8-20-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Marcus D. Parker, 24, of 424 Seventh St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 8:14 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to notify law enforcement of change of address as a sex offender. No bond was set.
Joseph H. Pollard, 53, of 202 Railroad Ave., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 10:42 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to register as a sex offender. No bond was set.
David T. Francois, 43, of 405 Fourth St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 11:14 a.m. on charges of failure to provide notification as a sex offender, failure to pay annual fee as a sex offender and failure to obtain identification card as a sex offender. No bond was set.
Anthony Ackman, 33, of 1599 Prairie Road, Centerville, was arrested Wednesday at 9:20 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery in the presence of juveniles and held with no bond set.
Shawn Thompson, 37, of 107 Lambert Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 11:05 p.m. on a Lafourche Parish warrant charging him with contempt of court. Bond is set at $1,000.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Terrance Anderson, 39, of Iberia Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 11:38 p.m. on an Iberia Parish warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.
Lane Howard Jr., 21, of Pine Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 1:40 a.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on charges of direct contempt, speeding and failure to honor written promise to appear. He was released on $334 bond.
