Police Reports 8-22-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Rogers L. Babino, 58, of 500 A Robert St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 12:54 p.m. and charged for possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. Babino was released on a summons to appear in court.
Khadijah Batiste, 22, of Raceland, was arrested Friday at 1:01 p.m. and charged on a warrant for probation violation. No bail was set.
George D. Harvey, III, 34, of 115 Cane Rd., Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 5:17 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear for a drug court status conference and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. No bail was set.
Henry Fontenot, 28, of 318 North Prairie Road, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 6:09 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $500.
Teddy Boudoin Jr., 41, of Vacherie, was arrested Friday at 8:17 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of reverse lights on vehicle in drive and driving under suspension. Bail was set at $15,772.
Therold James, 32, of Bayou Vista, was additionally charged with criminal damage to property and threatening a public official on Friday at 1:49 p.m. James remains incarcerated.
Kemper Batiste, 37, of 134 Dottie’s Lane, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 3:17 p.m. and charged with simple assault, resisting an officer (giving false information), criminal damage to property, threatening a public official and battery of a police officer. Batiste was released on a $2,500 bond.
Terrance M. Bergeron, 27, of 817 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and charged with resisting an officer, illegal possession of stolen things, illegal carrying of weapons, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number or mark and a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of forgery and theft. No bail was set.
Mark Romano, 35, of Houma, was arrested Saturday at 7:41 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace (fighting), disturbing the peace (intoxicated), no proof of insurance, failure to report a crash, failure to carry registration in vehicle and hit and run driving. Romano was released on a $2,500 bond.
Kristin Belanger, 28, of Lafayette, was arrested Saturday at 8:50 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. No bail was set.
Braxton Mitchell, 27, of 210 Mitchell Lane, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 3:07 a.m. and charged on a warrant for simple battery and disturbing the peace. Mitchell was released on a $750 bond.
Juan Vasquez Rosales, 28, of 1101 6th St., Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 5:39 p.m. and charged for no driver’s license and no insurance. Rosales was released on a summons to appear in court.
Ellis L. Whorton, 25, of 202½ Brashear Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 9:25 p.m. and charged with driving under suspension. Whorton was released on a summons to appear in court.
Charles Edmond, 55, of Charenton, was arrested Sunday at 10:59 p.m. and charged on a Chitimacha Tribal Police Department warrant for simple robbery and simple battery. No bail was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrest:
Danayre Smith, 21, of 129 Sydney Jo Lane, Berwick, was arrested Friday at 7:51 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I (marijuana), obstruction of justice and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (Drug-Free Zones). No bail was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Randranique Williams, 24, of Martin Luther King Boulevard., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 10:59 p.m. on a warrant for the charge of simple battery. Williams was booked, processed and released on a $500 bond.
John Paul, 28, of Fifth Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 3:09 a.m. on warrants for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for the charges of possession of Schedule I narcotics and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. Paul was booked, processed and transported to St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Heather Voisan, 35, of Lafayette, was arrested Saturday at 4:38 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by loud and abusive language. Voisan was booked, processed and released on a $500 bond.
Tyrus Polidore, 25, of Roys Lane, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:50 p.m. and charged on a warrant for the charge of simple battery and on a warrant for the charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Polidore was also arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Polidore was booked, processed and held with no bond set.
Shaljaup Williams, 26, of Ellis Street, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 7:54 p.m. for the charges of driving under suspension, no seat belt and turn signal required. Williams was booked, processed and released on a $1,500 bond.
