Police Reports 8-25-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Ronald J. Armond Sr., 43, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Friday at 4:30 p.m. on failure to appear warrants on charges of possession of hydrocodone and DWI. No bond was set.
Brian J. Weston, 26, of 101 Lori Lane, No. 5, Patterson, was arrested Friday at 1:30 p.m. on a charge of theft. He was released on a summons.
Kendrick Edmond, 23, of 111 Schoolhouse Lane, Charenton, was arrested Saturday at 12:35 a.m. on charges of domestic abuse by strangulation and domestic abuse battery by child endangerment. No bond was set.
Rebecca Freer, 32, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Friday at 10:01 p.m. on charges of two counts of hit and run, DWI and reckless operation. Bond was set at $3,000.
Sidney T. Couvillier Sr, 48, of 217 Chauvin Lane, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:05 a.m. on a charge of DWI. He was released on $5,000 bond.
Bartolos Pozos Fermin, 36, of 869 Two Brothers St., Amelia, was arrested Saturday at 5:07 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.
Anthony R. Stevenson, 50, of 1348 Martin Luther King Road, Charenton, was arrested Saturday at 10:09 p.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse battery by child endangerment. No bond was set.
Cole Z. Fruge, 23, of 1302 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 1:41 p.m. on charges of simple battery and remaining where forbidden. Bond was set at $1,000.
Cody Labit, 26, of Loreauville, was arrested Sunday at 6:27 p.m. on charges of hit and run and failure to report an accident. He was released on $1,250 bond.
Arana Candanedo, 24, of 402 Halsey St., No. 9, Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 11:20 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks and was released on a summons.
Dustin M. Burch, 21, of 213 Hendricks St., Patterson, was arrested today at 2:15 a.m. on charges of criminal trespassing and vagrancy. Burch was released on a summons.
Taylor J. Davis, 17, of 124 Natalie Lane, Patterson, was arrested today at 2:15 a.m. on charges of criminal trespassing and vagrancy and released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Sarah Webb, 29, of Weber Street, Franklin, Monday at 7:42 a.m. on a Lafayette City Court warrant charging her with theft. She was released on $750 bond.
Larry Duft, 62, of Jackel Lane, Franklin, was arrested today at 5:53 a.m. on a charge of aggravated assault. Officers responded to a complaint in the area of Crow’s Landing. Upon arrival, Duft allegedly stated he should shoot the emergency personnel and grabbed a knife. Duft complied with officer commands to drop the knife. Duft was processed and held with no bond set.
