At 2:51 a.m. Tuesday, a dispatcher received information about a possible battery that occurred at a residence in Centerville. A detective investigating the complaint collected evidence that Wain and three other male suspects repeatedly struck two male victims during a drug related robbery at Wain’s home.
One of the victims sustained a broken jaw and was transported to a hospital for treatment. While conducting a search warrant at Wain’s residence during the robbery investigation, detectives made contact with Wain, Brashear, Jarrell and Russo, and located a pill bottle containing several ecstasy pills, a firearm and a pipe used to smoke marijuana.
Continuing the investigation, detectives found evidence that Brashear took part in the crime. All four subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set for Brashear, Jarrell or Russo. Wain’s bail is set at $411,500.
