The family of Kenny Roy visited St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, during the Christmas Holiday season to present the hospital with a $4,500 donation, which came from the family’s annual 7-8-
year-old invitational for area all-star teams every June. Roy had a bone marrow transplant and after two years of fighting, he passed away in June 1998. This year will mark the 14th year the tournament has been held.
