“Keeping It Simple” floral design was the theme for the Bayou Vista Garden Club October meeting.
Bayou Vista Garden Club selected Popeyes as its October Business Yard of the Month winner. Landscaping includes agapanthus, azaleas, crape myrtle, daylily, gardenia, lantana and sago palm.
Members of the Bayou Vista Garden Club’s Civic Development Committee recently weeded, pruned and installed seasonal plants (pansies and petunias) at the Bayou Vista Landmark on Southeast Boulevard.
As part of its Adopt-A-School program commitment, Bayou Vista Garden Club partnered with Bayou Vista Elementary School to implement the National Garden Club’s School Gardens Project.
