As a result of the test session hosted by the Bayouland Emergency Amateur Radio Service (BEARS), three individuals have passed tests and become ham radio operators. They are, from left, Brock Hollier, Tessa Steitzinger and Anthony Hollier. The FCC will be issuing their respective ham radio call letters, which will enable them to legally get on the air for the first time. BEARS is available to help anyone who wishes to study for a ham radio license or who would like to take a test for any of the licenses available in the amateur service bands.
