Area swimming teams participate in meet

Morgan City, Berwick and Central Catholic High schools participated in a swim meet Monday in Morgan City.
Among the swimmers, two qualified for state competition in the 100 freestyle in their respective events. Berwick’s Mary Jordan Melancon qualified in Division III, while Central Catholic’s David Nugent qualified in Division IV.
