Berwick falls to North Webster

The Berwick Lady Panthers fell to North Webster, 12-4, in Class 3A bi-district action Tuesday.
No individual stats were available for the Lady Panthers, the No. 21 seed, who finished their season with a 13-22 mark.
North Webster (20-5), the No. 12 seed, now will play at No. 5 seed Buckeye Friday.
Tuesday’s game was the final one for four Berwick seniors, Olivia Gilbert, Maddie Gray, Brooke Hotard and Maria Trevino.
CCHS to play Thursday
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles have learned their second-round Class 1A opponent as well as the game’s site.
The No. 2 seed Lady Eagles (25-3) will host No. 15 seed St. Mary Thursday at 5 p.m. in Bayou Vista.
St. Mary (12-13) advanced after run-ruling No. 18 seed Covenant Christian 12-2 in five innings Tuesday.
