Berwick records top 15 finishes at meet

Berwick High School recorded top 15 finishes in boys’, girls’ and combined team scoring at the Southwest Acadiana High School Swim League’s Top 24 High School Championships Saturday.
Berwick’s boys finished 12th with 40 points, while the Lady Panthers placed 13th with 45 points. In combined team scoring, Berwick totaled 85 points, good enough for 13th place.
Morgan City High School nearly recorded a trio of top 15 finishes as well as the Tigers were 13th in boys’ team scoring with 37 points, while the Lady Tigers were 15th in girls’ team scoring with 27 points. In combined team scoring, however, Morgan City finished 17th with 64 points.
St. Thomas More took the girls’ team title with 272 points, while Barbe High School won top honors in the boys’ and combined team scoring with 321 and 489 points, respectively.
