Nicholas Case

Case, Hoffpauir lead CCHS’ district selections

Central Catholic had seven All-District 7-1A selections, including two first-team honorees.
The Eagles’ selections were led by first-team choices and seniors Tyler Hoffpauir and Nicholas Case.
Hoffpauir averaged 18.5 points per game and 6.7 rebounds in district, while Case had per-game averages of 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds.
Central Catholic had five honorable mention selections: Samarick Paul, 10.75 ppg; Stefano Guarisco 8.75 ppg, 6.6 assists per game, 2.5 steals; Cedric Gant 10.01 ppg, 3.5 steals; Jalen Johnson 9.7 ppg; Garrett LeBlanc 5.7 ppg.
District champion Lafayette Christian swept the individual honors as Jacob Broussard was named Most Valuable Player, while Byron Starks earned Coach of the Year honors.
Other first-team selections included a trio of Lafayette Christian players: Jacob Ledoux, Broussard and Caleb Ledoux.
