CCHS beats Runnels

The Central Catholic Lady Eagles defeated Runnels 3-2 (25-18, 21-25, 23-25, 25-11, 15-7) in road action Wednesday.
Brittany Longman led the Lady Eagles with 13 kills and nine digs, while Hanna McCue had 11 kills.
Other top contributors included Kaitlyn Gros, 21 assists; and Emma Aucoin, five aces and seven digs.
The Lady Eagles (5-10) will return to action today against Academy of Our Lady. Junior varsity action is set for 4:30 p.m. with varsity action to follow.
