CCHS softball is No. 2 in 1A

Central Catholic leads area softball teams with a No. 2 ranking in the latest Class 1A unofficial Louisiana High School Athletic Association power rankings released Tuesday morning.
The Lady Eagles trail just Catholic High-Pointe Coupee in the 1A ranks.
In Class 4A, Morgan City is ranked No. 6.
Cabrini is No. 1 in 4A.
In Class 3A, Patterson is the top area team with a No. 12 ranking, while Berwick is No. 25.
John Curtis is the top-ranked team in Class 3A.
