Centerville Bulldogs clobber Jeanerette

CENTERVILLE _ Cameron Pogue pitched and hit the Centerville Bulldogs to a 22-4 triumph over the Jeanerette Tigers here Friday at the Centerville Baseball Field.
Pogue earned the mound victory with a brilliant performance, going four complete innings, giving up four runs on four hits with six strikeouts and one walk. Christian Arias hurled the final inning, striking out the side.
Pogue helped his own cause with a 2 for 4 batting outing with a double and two RBI.
Other top hitters for Centerville were: Matt LeBourgeois, 2 for 3, 3 RBI; Christian Arias, 2 for 4, double, RBI; Gage Burgess, 1 for 3, 3 RBI; Cole Candella, 2 for 3, 2 RBI; Hunter Carter, 2 for 3, 2 RBI; Caleb LeBlanc, 1 for 1, RBI; Logan Broussard, 1 for 5, double, 2 RBI; Billy Estep, 1 for 2.
Centerville (5-4) will play host to ESA Tuesday at 4 p.m.
