Centerville shuts out AES

CENTERVILLE _ Centerville pitcher Robyn Romero fired a one-hitter, leading the Centerville Lady Bulldogs to a District 7-1A victory in three innings over the Ascension Episcopal Lady Gators here Thursday Lady Bulldog Field.
Romero notched the circle victory, hurling three innings, 1 hit, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.
Leading hitters for the Lady Bulldogs were: Chelsi Hebert, 2 runs; Victoria Theriot, run, Kennan Stelly, run; Robyn Romero, 1 for 2, double, 2 runs, 2 RBI; Jasmine Mendoza, run; Hailey McDaniel, 3 runs, Marlee Darden, 1 for 2, 2 runs; Rylie Candella, 1 for 2, 1 triple, 2 RBIs, run; Breanna Boykin, run and Rachel LeBlanc, run.
The Centerville Lady Bulldogs will host Central Catholic March 10 in its next district outing.
