Chenevert earns first-team honors

The Morgan City Lady Tigers were represented on the All-District 7-4A girls’ team including first-team selection Casey Chenevert.
Chenevert, a junior, was joined by the Lady Tigers’ honorable mention selections, senior Kaylyn Washington and sophomore Meya Morse.
Other first-team selections were Vandebilt Catholic’s Cassidy Barrios, Ellender’s Kiara Scott and Amari Banks and Assumption’s Amanda Gianelloni.
Barrios was named the district’s Most Valuable Player, while Ellender’s Kenneth Dixon was named Coach of the Year.
