CHS Lady Bulldogs split district victories

CENTERVILLE _ Ashton Landry and Rachel LeBlanc teamed up to carry the Centerville Lady Bulldogs to an 11-8 District 7-1A victory over the Highland Baptist Lady Bears here Tuesday at the Lady Bulldog Park.
Landry pitched the win in the circle after tossing a complete game, giving up 8 hits, 4 walks, striking out 8 and allowing 4 earned runs.
LeBlanc blasted a home run while going 2 for 3 to help propel the Lady Bulldogs.

The Vermilion Catholic Lady Eagles snapped the Centerville Lady Bulldogs’ winning streak with a 13-8 win here Wednesday in District 7-1A action.
Centerville slipped to 11-10 overall and 9-5 in District 7-1A play with the loss.
Ashton Landry worked seven complete innings for the Lady Bulldogs, giving up 12 hits, 3 walks while fanning 5 batters.
