FSHS Lady Hornets play in Vandy tourney

HOUMA _ The Franklin Lady Hornets dropped a pair of games in the annual Vandebilt Lady Terrier Classic here recently.
On Friday, South Lafourche earned a 73-48 victory over the Franklin Lady Hornets.
Leading scorers for Franklin were: Traviaishala Boatman, 14 (5 2’s, 4-4 FT); Fabian Small, 11 (5 2’s, 1-2 FT); Quanta Jones, 7 (3 2’s, 1-2 FT); Wynesha Jenkins, 5 (2 2’s, 1-2 FT) and Chardonnae Parker, 5 (1 2, 3-4 FT).
Franklin will play at Centerville on Tuesday night.
Morgan City 41, Franklin 27
Morgan City’s Lady Tigers posted a 41-27 win over the Franklin Lady Hornets in the Vandebilt Lady Terriers Classic on Thursday.
