HMS tops Bears

The Hanson Tigers topped the Gueydan Bears 9-2 Wednesday at the Amar Lancon Field in District 7-A action.
Brennan Young hurled the Tigers to the victory, working seven complete innings, allowing two runs on four hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
Cameron Stovall belted a home run to lead the Tigers’ hitters.
Leading hitters for HMS were: Luke Lancon, 2 for 2, 3 runs; Bo Barrilleaux, 2 for 4, 3 runs, 2 RBI; Cameron Stovall, 1 for 2, homerun, 3 RBI; Jacob Hebert, 1 for 3 and Bryce Ronsonet, run.
