Houma Christian defeats CCHS 46-23
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles fell on the road to Houma Christian, 46-23, in nondistrict girls’ basketball action Thursday.
Houma Christian led 15-6 after the first quarter and extended its lead to 22-9 at halftime and 34-14 after three quarters of play.
Hallie Autin led the Lady Eagles with 16 points, while Sydney Williams and Taylor Picou each added three points and Rebecca David, a point.
Central Catholic (4-16 overall) will return to action Tuesday when it continues District 7-1A play at Gueydan.
