The Patterson High Lumberjills fell to E.D. White 40-28 in their regular season finale Friday in Thibodaux.
The contest also was the Lumberjills’ final District 9-3A game of the season.

Central Catholic falls
to Lafayette Christian
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles concluded their season with a 62-33 loss to Lafayette Christian Friday in District 7-1A action in Lafayette.
No individual statistics were available for Central Catholic, who concluded its season with a 5-20 overall mark and a 2-10 mark in district.
Berwick falls to Donaldsonville
The Berwick High School Lady Panthers closed their season with a 69-6 loss to Donaldsonville Thursday in Berwick.
The Lady Panthers were outscored 29-1 in the first quarter, trailed 45-3 at halftime and 57-5 after three quarters in the District 9-3A contest.
Kaloni Jones and Brittany Boudreaux each scored two points for Berwick, while Shelvy Ruffin and Nicole Johnson each added a point.
Berwick concluded its season with an 0-18 mark and an 0-6 record in district.
Morgan City defeats Franklin
The Morgan City Lady Tigers concluded their regular season with a 54-50 victory against Franklin in nondistrict action Thursday.
Casey Chenevert led Morgan City with 23 points, while Alisha Singleton scored 16 points.
Other scorers for Morgan City included Meya Morse with nine, Elicia Dorsey, four; and Hailey Lewis, two.
Morgan City (13-9) now will await its seeding in the Class 4A playoffs, which will be announced today at noon.
