Franklin held off Patterson, 28-20, Friday to break a lengthy losing streak to the Lumberjacks in high school football action at the Sugar Dome.
After starting the season 0-6, the Patterson High School Lumberjacks have responded with three wins in a row, including last week’s 42-28 homecoming win against North Vermilion.
Patterson defeated Franklin Wednesday 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-18) at Franklin Wednesday.
Patterson had 19 aces in the nondistrict contest.
