Lady Eagles win Terrier Classic

The Central Catholic Lady Eagles beat Morgan City and E.D. White this weekend to win the Jack Becker Terrier Classic at Vandebilt Catholic.
Central Catholic beat Morgan City, 67-43, Friday, and defeated E.D. White, 58-38, for the championship.
Randi Brown and Meo Knight led the Tigers in scoring Friday with 23 and 21 points, respectively.
On Saturday, Knight led the Tigers with 26 points while Brown added 21 points. Knight was 10-for-17 from the field. Brown was 8-for-16 from the field. Gee Garrett added 8 points.
The Lady Eagles shot 51.2 percent in their win against E.D. White. Central Catholic fought back to win by 20 points after being down to E.D. White, 12-9, at the end of the first quarter.
The Lady Eagles shot 49.1 percent from the field against the Morgan City Lady Tigers. Other scorers for Central Catholic against Morgan City were Megan Landry; 10 points; Garrett, 8; Hallie Autin, 3; and Rebecca David, 2.
Central Catholic will face University Lab on the road Friday.
